Description

I was trying to use the crackling technique Kevin was using for his lovely vases, but it didn't turn out as nice... the cracks melted back together as I was heating the piece in the furnace to keep working on its shape. I am disappointed that the effect wasn't properly accomplished on any of the last three pieces, but it was a chance to learn how to do it better next time.

I really like the way the inside and outside looks of this dish. Iw oudn't be disapointed at all. We used to have the 'gunmetal' color in the clay class I was in so its kind of fun to see it again.

This is really a beautiful cup, I love the color combination, the shape and everything.
